Remembering a Father, Friend, and Teammate

It is with profound sadness that we have to write this. Last week our Senior Account Executive, team member, and friend Jeremy Maurer unexpectedly passed away at the age of 44. Jeremy was passionate about his family and his job and the weight this puts on his family and friends is unmeasurable.

Jeremy was known for always taking time out of his schedule for others. Helping co-workers in need and doing whatever it took to get the job done. He was also a loving and devoted father, husband, and brother.

On Saturday May 14, 2022, Jeremy Allen Maurer, devoted husband, father, son and brother passed away unexpectedly at age 44.  Jeremy leaves his loving wife of 15 years, Jessica, daughter Anna (12), and son Henry (9). He is also survived by his parents, James and Emily Maurer, and his sister Sara Bolsoni (Mark).

Jeremy’s first priority in life was always his family. He met the love of his life at Central Michigan University, where they both graduated from Business School. Jeremy grew up in Frankenmuth, MI, but he and Jessica settled in West Bloomfield to raise their family. While Jeremy prioritized meaningful time with his family, he was a very hard worker with a long and successful career in sales, often winning awards for exceeding sales goals.  For the last 5 years he has worked as the Senior Account Executive of Software and Services Sales with Alta Vista Technology. Jeremy thrived at Alta Vista and his co-workers felt more like a family to him.

While Jeremy was respected and loved by all who knew him, he will be most remembered for his good natured humor, integrity, and above all his love and devotion to his wife and children. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.

We know Jeremy has touched many of our customers and partners. Losses like this are never easy, but we wanted to help ease the burden.
